Celebrated Zambian Twins and TV Personalities Joel and Noel Mwanza have been nominated for the 2020 Future of Zambia – Top 30 Under 30 Awards organised by The Dream Factory Zambia.
The Mwanza brothers are among the 50 young Zambian achievers to have been nominated for the Future of Zambia – Top 30 Under 30 annual award, ranking scheme, and recognition platform that honours young Zambian achievers under the age of 30, who are building brands, creating jobs, changing the game, and transforming the country.
The Identical twins are nominated in the SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP, HUMANITARIAN AND Philanthropy Category due to their effort of running a nonprofit but life changing path that has touched hundreds of people in Zambia and also a unique initiative dubbed “The Twins Plus Foundation” which is meant to bring Twins together for social change among other things.
Joel Mwanza has also received a Media nomination because of his Producer, Reporter and Presenter role for the only Zambian kids news dubbed “Zkids News” on Muvi TV, the children’s news program which is aimed at ensuring that children are up to date with what is happening in their country in terms of news.
The Award Ceremony will take place on 8th May, 2021 in Lusaka and Other nominated notable personalites include: Yo Maps, Patson Daka, Natasha Chansa, Jae Cash, Barbara Banda, Namwezi Namwinga, Chimweka Chileshe, Andrew Mwansa, Fashion Sakala, David Kazadi, Enock Mwepu, Mwaka Mugala, Harris Daka (Harris Nation), Arnold Nyendwa, Cecilia Kongwa to mention but a few.
In 2020, the Twins won a Leadership and Media Excellence awards in the United States of America (USA).
