NSCRUPULOUS individuals purporting to be police recruitment officers who are calling unsuspecting people to report for training to police training schools.
Zambia Police Service Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Danny Mwale has cautioned members of the public against falling prey to the unscrupulous.
Mr Mwale said candidates earmarked to undergo police training had not yet been availed to the general public and that the police would publish the names of successful candidates in the print media as well as all provincial centres.
He said on April 7, 2021 one person from Mporokoso reported to one of the police training schools after receiving a call from unknown person who claimed to be a police recruitment officer. Mr Wale warned individuals who were in the habit of swindling people and spreading false information that their days were numbered as police would not rest until they pay for their criminal behaviour
