Kalu to coach 2012 AfCON Legends

ZAMBIA’S soccer icon Kalusha Bwalya is set  to coach the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations  Winning Legends Against Barcelona Legends team to be led by former Brazilian star Gaucho Ronaldinho to be played at the National Heroes Stadium on May 25.

The match is an exhibition fixture organised by Kings of Africa in partnership with the Ministry of Sport.

The match promises to be a thrilling encounter, with legendary Brazilian footballer, Ronaldinho headlining the Barcelona team.

The Barcelona Legends team will be full of former superstars to ever play the game of football.

Expected to feature in the Zambian team is the entire 2012 AfCON winning team with Captain Chris Katongo set to lead his lads.

Former KK 11 captain Kalusha is expected to be on the touch line but may play a role on the pitch in the latter stages of the game.

The announcement of the inclusion of the 1988 Africa Footballer of the year has excited fans on social media with the hope of him playing on the pitch reminiscent of his playing days. The Ministry of Sport is using the game to promote sports tourism in Zambia.
