Mundubile Fails HH in Performance

By KALOBWE BWALYA

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema’s performance has so far been poor and rating him at 30 percent is more than fair as one would give him way below that, Patriotic Front (PF) presidential hopeful Brian Mundubile has said.

Mr Mundubile has said that no single significant sector known to drive the economic wheels was thriving under President Hichilema’s administration, sending millions of Zambians into poverty and destitution.

He said it was a well-known fact that an ordinary Zambian was complaining about the high cost of living and shortage of drugs among other pressing matters while President Hichilema had continued on a trajectory of self-praise.

Mr Mundubile, who is Leader of the Opposition in Parliament said President Hichilema’s biggest achievement and success had been praising himself about the successes he had not attained.

“Besides the speeches and self-praise by the Head of State and his praise singers, no any other sober Zambian would rate Mr Hichilema and his administration above 35 percent. So the 30 percent rate is more than fair of a mark to give as one would want to rate them lower than that,” Mr Mundubile said.

On fuel prices, Mr Mundubile said the only time Zambians would celebrate the changes was when the prices were reduced to below K15.00, the price at which fuel was when the UPND took over government.

He has advised President Hichilema to start reflecting on the sufferings of the Zambian instead of assuming that the government has done well when the reality on the ground was different.

“President Hichilema should start reflecting upon the sufferings of the Zambian people and the problem is that the President to assume that is doing well when the reality on the ground is different is not the way to go,” Mr Mundubile said.
