THE Zambians United for Sustainable Development has urged government to rescind its decision to print ballot papers for local government by-elections outside the country.
Party Presidential assistant Tatila Tatila says that the government should ensure the printing of ballot papers is done locally.
Mr Tatila says, the country has capacity to print the ballot papers, therefore, the ballot papers for the coming by-elections should be done locally.
Mr Tatila says it is unfortunate that the country has continued to depend on other countries instead of using the resources it has. He says government needs to put in place the little resources required in order to ensure that the government printers is used for the process.
He further says doing so will help to create jobs for youths who have remained unemployed for longer period of time.
