Dad drags son to court over 7 missing goats

A 22-year-old man has been dragged to the Choma Magistrates Court by his father on accusations that he stole 7 of his Goats.
In this matter Bwalya Kanimba of Kanatale village in Choma is charged with one count of Stock Theft contrary to sections 275(1) and 272 of the penal code chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.
Allegations are that Kanimba, jointly and whilst acting with others unknown stole seven goats valued at K3, 500 the property of his father Jombolo Kanimba.
The alleged incident is said to have occurred on March 25, 2021 in Choma district of Southern province.
When the matter came up for continued trial before Magistrate Muyambango Munukayumbwa, trial could not take off as the dealing officer in the matter was unavailable.
Public Prosecutor Coillard Sikwalulwa thus applied to have the matter adjourned to June 24, for continued trial.
Kanimba had his police bond extended.
