SCHOOL IN MWANSABOMBWE RECEIVE MATERIALS

Mwansabombwe receives education materials
Government has distributed education materials and furniture to all schools in Mwansabombwe district.

District Commissioner (DC), Jacob Chilufya has implored school managers to guard the materials jealously as they have come at a greater cost to government owing to the limited financial resources the country is experiencing due to COVID-19.

Mr Chilufya was speaking when he launched the distribution of materials and furniture to government schools in the district.
And District Educational Board Secretary, Mary Kanyimbo said the materials will help enhance the provision of quality education and contribute positively to the learner performance in the district.
Meanwhile, Kapale Secondary School Headboy, Andrew Katema thanked government for the gesture saying the computers and science materials will add value to their academic performance.

The procured items include office furniture, laboratory kits, carpentry tools, computers and conference chairs among others.
