Baby Among Six Victims Killed By Two Prisoners!
Police in Kabwe say a six-month-old baby is among six bodies of the nine victims alleged to have been murdered by an escapee and inmate from Mukobeko Correctional Facility.
Central Province Police Commissioner, Mr. Chola Katanga, has confirmed this to the media following the identification of the bodies and the victims have been identified by the relatives.
The victims are Elizabeth Kazadi 43 , Pricilla Kafumbo-aged 41 and Naomi Namukulwa aged six months, all from Kitwe.
Others are Doreen Nyambe, 29 from Lusaka district, who is wife to a truck driver, Mrs Mombota aged 51 from Mongu and Virginia Chanda from Chingola 48.
It is alleged that prisoners namely Joseph Chiteta and Miles Malaya murdered nine people who are mostly women after raping them.
