TERENCE MISELO Writes

@SunZambian

 “ As a musical artiste, I decided long ago that come what may, I will fit in every genre, be it hip hop, rock,R&B, Soul,Reggae etc. and it is at this point after a careful thought that I introduce to you my conscious reggae song about two good friends whose friendship develops some kinda feud after the other becomes greedy,” stated 2Kind, a Zambian artiste based in the US in announcing his latest single ‘Akabomba Kabiye’

The singer who in the past has done some good songs like “Nalibelela” and “Waponenefye” to name only few has gone on a reggae path to emphasize that music must communicate something.

“This is probably the hardest thing I ever done,” he says.

“In a time where almost every song has to be associated with a certain dance type, its little hard to convince people that there’s even a serious side of life amidst all the fun.”

2Kind believes he has matured in his music career and his new single to be released on July 19 is to help him address real issues of life.

He says this single produced by Sebastian Mutale will be followed by a compilation of all his songs to create a double CD for sale.

“The love I have for people who love and follow my music is immense. Though I figured that it’s either people know one song “Nalibelela” and/or “Waponenefye”. So, I have decided to put together about 22 songs from the ones that I have done since 2008 to date and put them on two CDs and sell it to the public,” he says.

This Double CD will be called ‘The Best Of 2kind’ to be released on a date to be announced.
