MUKWIMA CHILALA writes

POWER Dynamos has sent players Alex Ng’onga and Godfrey Ngwenya  to India for medical treatment after they suffered knee knocks.

According to the club’s media office Ng’onga and Ngwenya suffered serious knee injuries during the just-ended Transitional League season.

They left Zambia on Saturday aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola.

The two players are expected to undergo specialist treatment.

“The club would like to pay glowing tribute to the parent sponsors, the Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) Plcfor facilitating the trip,” read the statement from the Power Dynamos media office.

Team manager Lombe Chipulu has accompanied the players.

“Power wishes the lads safe travel and successful operation,” the media office said.

Ng’onga and Ngwenya have seen little action for the Ndeke side in the latter half of Transitional League season because of their injuries.
