POWER LOSS CHILDISH-COACH

MUKWIMA CHILALA writes

NEWLY appointed Zambia super league side Power Dynamos Coach Fordson Kabole has taken a swipe at his charges over last Saturday loss to Nkana which he described as ‘childish’.
In post-match interview Kabole described his team’s defence as childish following the 2-0 loss to rivals Nkana which was also his first game as in charge of Power.
The 72 year old veteran, Kabole who was reappointed last week to replace Kelvin Kaindu made the comments during the post-match SuperSport video interview that has been widely shared on social media.
“Those were childish mistakes that led us into conceding two goals. If we had experienced defenders we would not have been defeated but we shall work to improve on the team’s performance,” he said.
The loss to rivals just piled more pressure on the Ndeke based side who have since been displaced from the top four position , thereby losing grip on their contention.
Meanwhile Kabole’s opposite man Beston Chambeshi said it was a tough match especially that Nkana only trained once since their return from Tunisia.
Chambeshi described the outcome as a good result for his team, hungry to get back into continental play.
An early goal from Nkana FC striker Ronald ” Sate Sate” Kampamba took his total to 8 goals before Tanzanian fullback Hassan Kessy added a second goal to end the game and gain revenge over Power’s 2-0 win in the first leg match at Nkana Stadium.
The win moves Nkana into 7th place on 12 points with 5 games in hand while Power has slipped into 6th place on 17 points.
