By NATION REPORTER

ZAMBIA’s Ambassador to France Dr Christine Kaseba Sata has urged French tourism operators to market Zambia as the best tourist destination to the French market.

Speaking during a training breakfast of selected tourism operators in Paris, Dr. Kaseba called on the tour operators to vigorously help in selling Zambia’s tourist destinations to the prospective market.

The training which brought together 21 tourism operators across France was aimed at marketing destination Zambia to the French market.

Dr. Kaseba said Zambia was a fascinating and captivating country ready to be explored by the French market.

She cited the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls as the main selling point, the finest safaris ever on the African continent coupled with other waterfalls dotted across the country as the main tourist attractions.

Dr. Kaseba also called for strengthening of the partnership between the Embassy and the tour operators to heighten marketing Zambia’s destination to contribute to increased tourist arrivals in the country.

At the same event, Tourism Attache Twaambo Himoonde Muzyamba gave a presentation promoting what destination Zambia had on offer for the French market, which included various wildlife safaris, the Kasanka bat migration, adrenaline rush activities such as bungee jumping, micro lighting and white-water rafting, as well as diverse cultural heritage experiences, sumptuous cuisine and the warm Zambian hospitality among others.
