HH HAS SET LEADERSHIP BAR HIGH – HASULWE

By MUKWIMA CHILALA

United Party for National Development  (UPND) national youth executive committee  member, Fanwell Hasulwe says  President Hakainde Hichilema has set the leadership bar high for the next Head of State  who will take over from him.

Mr Hasulwe says the opposition should step up their game because President Hichilema had now set the benchmark of leadership and that it would now become difficult for the opposition to challenge him going into the 2026 presidential and general elections.

“These PF members , people like Nakacinda [PF chairperson for information and publicity , Raphael Nakacinda], Emmanuel Mwamba [PF presidential aspirant] and others. These people they have nothing to talk about now because President Hakainde Hichilema is busy fulfilling his promises one by one  and everyone is able to see now,” Mr Hasulwe said.

He said President Hichilema had performed exceptionally well with the introduction of the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) partial withdrawal and provision of free education, which were the game changers to the Head of State’s  legacy.

“Look at what is happening at NAPSA, those people stayed for so many years and others died and left their money but after partial withdrawal was introduced, everyone now is busy going there  to get their 20 percent partial withdrawal.  Zambians can now do something else when they get that money as they wait for their full package,” Mr Hasulwe said.  He challenged Mr Nakacinda and Mr Mwamba to provide credible checks and balances instead of criticising all UPND policies.
