Police attempt to arrest Kambwili?

By NATION REPORTER

Police yesterday morning surrounded Chishimba Kambwili’s residence in an attempt to arrest for some unknown offence, it was reported.

Last week, Mr Kambwili claimed that President Hakainde Hichilema had been threatening him for some unknown reprisals only because the Patriotic Front (PF) presidential candidate had turned out to be a curt critic of the head of State.

Efforts to get a comment from Mr Kambwili failed as his mobile phone had been switched by press time.

Charles Kabwita, the Nephew to Mr Kambwili when contacted told the Daily Nation that his Uncle had not been arrested and that he was home.

Earlier last week, Mr Kambwili revealed that President Hichilema had sent him a text message warning him against propagating tribalism as doing so was a crime.
