The Southern African Centre for the Constructive Resolution has expressed concern over the continued exploitation of electorates by politicians to get into office.
SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Chembe noted that politicians were fond of making promises to excite people despite knowing that they cannot deliver once voted into office.
Mr Chembe said it was unfortunate that politicians take advantage of the vulnerability of the electorates for their own benefits while those who put them in office are left to suffer.
He said this calls for the electorate to understand political manifestos of politicians that some promises are unrealistic so that they make informed decisions.
Mr Chembe said failure to do so would result in the continued exploitation of the citizens by politicians.
