Members public with information about criminal groups should report to police, Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has said.
Mr Hamoonga says the rising number of criminal groups is alarming.
He says the police are doing all they can to ensure criminality is curbed.
He says curbing the vice needs concerted efforts hence the need for the public to work hand in hand with the police.
Mr Hamoonga says that the police has heightened patrols in communities as a way of curbing the vice.
Mr Hamoonga says the police will ensure law and order is restored.
He says the police will not allow a few people to cause disorderly in the communities.
