Leopard Girls volleyball team head to Mozambique.

THERE will be an equal distribution of funds meant for all sports disciplines, Zambia Correctional Service Commissioner General, Fredrick Chilukutu has said.

The Commissioner General said this through his Deputy Kuyomba Bwalya during a send off address to the Leopards Girls Volleyball team at Service Headquarters in Kabwe as they head to Mozambique for Volleyball Zone 6 Africa championship.

“There will be an equal distribution of funds for all sports disciplines in the Service so that we collect maximum results from all sports men.”

The Commissioner General has since bade the girls to be exemplary as they represent the Service and the country in Maputo from 10 -16 January, 2022.

“Shine on the court as you are the holders of the Army Commander’s cup and the Commissioner General’s cup, an indication that you have a great task ahead of you.”

Meanwhile, Kuyomba Bwalya also announced to the players that the Commander for Nyango Correctional Training school, Deputy Commissioner Tonny Khunga will boost the team with 300 Litters of fuel.

At the same event Copperbelt Regional Commanding officer, Deputy Commissioner James Nkoloma also boosted the team with 130 cases of refreshments and face masks for the trip while the Leopards Football Club procured a 50litters cooler box for the Volleyball Club.

In a vote of thanks for the goodwill towards the team, the Team Manager Sergeant Mwangwewo Lughano assured that team understands it’s mandate and will strive to deliver as expected.

The trip to participate in Mozambique has been fully sponsored by the Zambia Correctional Service, which is the main sponsor for the club and scheduled to leave. – ZAMBIA CORRECTIONAL SERVICES MEDIA
