30, 000 get COVID -19 jab in Ndola

30, 000 get COVID -19 jab in Ndola

30,000 people have been vaccinated against the deadly coronavirus out of the eligible population of 625 000 in Ndola district on the Copperbelt province

This represents 11 per cent of the total eligible population to receive the COVID- 19 jab.

Ndola District Public Health Specialist Christopher Dube disclosed this during the COVID-19 vaccination relaunch in the Ndola district held in Mine Masala township.

And Ndola District Health Director Charles Mwinuna said the district is working towards achieving 70 per cent vaccination coverage of the eligible population in order to beat the anticipated fourth wave next month.
