OPPOSITION PARTIES WELCOME CABINET APPOINTMENTS

Various Opposition Political parties have welcomed President HIKAINDE HICHILEMA’s new cabinet saying it has potential to deliver for Zambians.

New Heritage Party President CHISHALA KATEKA says she is impressed with the new cabinet but however noted that more women need to be included

Mrs KATEKA says the new cabinet looks balanced and ready to transform Zambia with the support of all key stakeholders.

She was speaking to ZNBC News in Lusaka today.

And National Restoration Party-NAREP President STEPHEN NYIRENDA said his party is ready to work the UPND government to enhance economic development now that cabinet is in place.

Mr NYIRENDA said the new cabinet has a massive experience in governance and should be supported by all.

And Leadership Movement President RICHARD SILUMBE said the new cabinet must be committed to fighting corruption in line with the UPND party Manifesto.

Meanwhile, Federation of free trade unions-FFTUZ Chairperson CHIRATY KAMPAMBA has thanked President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for considering women in key positions.

Mrs KAMPAMBA has since urged the women that have been appointed to work extra hard.

She further appealed to the UPND government to consider more women and youths in key positions.
