THE Kasama Magistrates Court has committed a 23-year-old woman to the high court for allegedly killing her lover.
Prudence Mubanga of Kateshi in Kasama has been charged with murder for allegedly killing Edward Mwamba 24, on February 14, this year.
Details before the court were that on the material day, the woman and her lover went on a drinking spree.
After the couple got intoxicated, a fight ensued following an allegation that the man was a womaniser in the locality.
Resident Magistrate Samson Mumba committed the accused to the high court yesterday after receiving instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
