Government through the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities (ZAPD) has supplied a variety of equipment to aid persons with disabilities in all the nineteen constituencies of Western Province.
Among the equipment include wheelchairs, crutches, white canes and food hampers among others.
Receiving the equipment in Mongu, Western Province Permanent Secretary Danny Bukali commended President Edgar Lungu for exhibiting an all-inclusive approach and urged all Zambians to emulate.
Mr. Bukali said the supplied equipment will empower and make mobility less difficulty for persons with disabilities.
And Western Province Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities Coordinator Lukwesa Kalumba was humbled to receive such kind of support from government.
And Western Province Assistant Secretary Richard Mulwanda urged all with disabilities to come on board for identification.
