Hundreds of mourners yesterday gathered at Memorial Park in Lusaka to pay their last respects to artiste and chef Twenda Eustace Sikazwe aka Chef TweTwe .
Twenda died on Tuesday after a short illness.
Liberty Christian Centre Bishop Eddie Mulenga who was the main celebrant at farewell service held at Memorial Park described Twenda as a very uniquely talented artiste who touched so many lives. He said people must learn from Twezi’s life that involved the use of talent as God’s gift.
Artistes, DJs, journalists, fans and followers as well as people from all walks of life attended the service and burial to show their love to Twezi.
Twezi was well-known for music and his love for cooking. He sang with lots of top ranking artistes including Roberto, Ozzy, Slapdee, Magic Links and Ice Kid to name only a few. His famous anthem, ‘ Bumper to Bumper’ took him to places and made him establish great connections with various artistes in the USA.
In his life as a Chef, he popularised his famous ‘ Twe-twe’ Burger. He also worked hard as a celebrity Chef cooking for very famous personalities. May His Soul Rest in Peace.
