Renowned comedian and businessman Thomas Sipalo popularly known as Diffikoti has declared himself ready to face opponents on the Munali Parliamentary seat.
Sipalo who recently announced his intentions to contest the seat as independent feels very confident to take up the seat.
Meanwhile, the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has settled for Patrick Samwimbila, another artiste and arts administrator.
Mr Samwimbila is the immediate past Chairperson of the National Arts Council. This means two artistically-inclined artistes will battle it out alongside other candidates in Munali.
And another comedian Patrick Salubusa who was in contention for adoption on the Matero seat has chosen to remain loyal and support his party PF despite not being picked.
Salubusa famously known as Saulosi said on his Facebook page that only God’s time is the best.
