Songstress Mampi has been named the best dressed woman of the recently held PR Girl Media event dubbed Champagne Picnic.
This is according to the reviews and voting conducted on PR Girl Media social media platforms. Designer Kabaso Nkandu of the Nkanda Yatu scooped the best dressed male while organisers PR Girls pair of Monde and Chishimba Nyambe got the best dressed couple.
PR Girl Media hosted the third Champagne Picnic at Lilayi Lodge on Saturday 1 May under the theme “Safari Chic”. After a cancellation of the event in 2020, this year’s edition made a refreshing comeback and set social media ablaze with riveting reviews from event attendants.
The Champagne Picnic 2021 featured a 3-course buffet lunch by Lilayi Lodge which was followed by a late afternoon of entertainment by DJs El Mukuka, Ms Selfie, Kreative Nativez and DJ Clap. The stunning Lilayi Lodge is an oasis of relaxation located just outside of Lusaka offering not only a picturesque scenery but a wide selection of cuisine and beverages. “Introduced in 2017, the Champagne Picnic is an event built on the idea of combining food, fashion and music where attendants can enjoy a day of networking in a premium and relaxed environment”, said Managing Partners of PR Girl Media, Monde and Chishimba Nyambe. The partners popularly known as the PR Girls confirmed that the event was hosted under strict COVID-19 regulations and measures and ensured safety for all attendants.
Being the first event in 2021 by PR Girl Media, the Champagne Picnic was not shy of local celebrities and highly sought-after personalities; Macky 2, King Illest Mwaka Mugala, Roberto, Dandy Crazy, Mampi and Miles Sampa were in attendance at the event. The Champagne Picnic was sponsored by Infinix, Stella Artois, Try Zambia, Vatra and Diamond TV.
