MUNDANYA MINI HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION ELATES RESIDENTS

The construction of Mundanya Mini Hospital in  Manyinga District, Northwestern province has elated stakeholders in the district.

District Stakeholders Association Chairman, Patrick Kamboyi said the construction of the mini hospital will greatly improve the delivery of health services to people in the area.

Mr Kamboyi said the huge population in the area will be serviced by the mini hospital and the newly constructed health post.

“With this development, both the mini hospital and health post will save locals from traveling expenses to Loloma Mission Hospital as it was the case in the past,” he said.

Meanwhile, Manyinga District Commissioner, Geoffrey Malayiti has commended Susscon Construction for speedy works on the mini hospital.

“Am delighted to see that within the three months, this contractor has been on site, over 50 percent of the works have been done,” said Mr Malayiti.

He said this is a clear testimony that government wants to bring quality health care services closer to the people.

“It has to be appreciated that government attaches great importance to primary health care provision,” he said.
