A LUSAKA police officer has been committed to the High Court for murder,
In this case Mzuba Mwiinga is charged with allegedly murdering Hillary Kapyanga on July 20, last year in Lusaka.
Mwiinga yesterday appeared before Lusaka Magistrate Alice Walusiku for explanation of the charge which he said he understood.Ms Walusiku told the accused person that he would not take plea before her as the charge he was facing was only tried by the High Court.
After explanation of the charge the State presented to court a certificate of committal from the Director of Public Prosecutions committing Mwiinga to the High Court.
Ms. Walusiku remanded him in custody
