Sakala in ‘fashion’ in Belgium

ZAMBIAN striker Fashion Sakala was again on target for KV Oostende as he scored a brace to help the Kustboys to a 2-1 win over Kortrijk in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

Sakala put the KustBoys in the lead in the 18th minute after being found in space by a lay off from Jack Henry after a free-kick from Maxime D’arpino.

The former Sensational Zanaco forward made in 2-0 in the 70th minute after the goalkeeper failed to deal with a back pass from Hines-Ike and clumsily lost the ball to a waiting Sakala who pounced and scored with ease. It was a fantastic performance from the showman on a snowy afternoon.

Derijck pulled one back for Kortrijk as he converted from the penalty spot, but Oostende held on to win the match 2-1 to move to fifth place with 32 points on the Belgian Jupiler Pro League table. Sakala has now scored eight goals this season and sits joint sixth on the top goal scorers chart.
