Zanaco, Saints go top in Futsal log

ZANACO and Kafue Saints moved to the summit of their respective groups after picking their second victories in the inaugural Automotive Premier Futsal League (PFL) Cup fixtures played at Automotive Futsal Arena over the weekend.

ZANACO beat Group D rivals Tamanga Juldan 5-3 to move to six points in group A, three points ahead of second-placed Kitwe United FC who were on bye on match day two.
Meanwhile, Kafue Saints overcame Christian Academy 2-1 to dislodge Lusaka Automotive from the Group A top spot.
Siavonga Beetles moved to third in Group A after picking their first win following a 7-2 thrashing of Lilanda Bullets. In other fixtures, Livingstone
Pirates picked their first win in the PFL Cup after handing Veterans a 3-0 defeat at Automotive Futsal Arena.
It was Veterans second defeat having lost their first game 13-1 Kabwe K-Line who were also on bye on match day two of the PFL Cup.
Pioneer Avengers moved to the Group B top sport after holding BS Stars to a 4-4 stalemate which propelled them to four points, one point ahead of second-placed Kabwe K-Line who are on three points.
In Group C, Chipata Boys thumped Bil FC 11-2 to move to four points having drawn their first game 3-3 with DS Academy on match day one.
