THE incest charge case of a 36 year old peasant farmer of Mwalumina village in Chongwe has been adjourned to November 16 after his sister reported that he was admitted to hospital.

This is in a matter in which the named man, 36, stands charged with incest contrary to Section 159 of the penal code, Chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.
The accused denied the charge when he earlier took plea before Magistrate Kabwe Tembo.
Particulars of the offence were that on February 2nd this year, the accused is alleged to have dragged his biological daughter into a bush near his home. It is alleged that he then had carnal knowledge of the girl who is reported to be a minor.
The court adjourned the matter to November 16 for commencement of trial while the accused is on bail awaiting his next appearance in court.
