Kafue man in court for theft of goods

A 24 year old man of Kafue has been dragged to court for breaking into a house and stealing property worth K122,195 of Jeffrey Joe Jacobson.

Appearing in the Kafue magistrate court before magistrate Moffat Phiri was Kelvin Sakala of Zambia Compound accused of breaking into a house with intent of committing a felony.

Particulars of offence are  that on unknown date but during the nights between November 1 and 30, 2018, Sakala did break and enter into the dwelling house of Jeffrey Joe Jacobson.

Sakala did steal, one short gun, one pallet gun, one Compaq laptop, two cat speakers (headphones), six SD cards, one cellphone, ten cellphonechargers, two subwoofers, one GOTV decoder, nine tequilas, one bottle of Jameson, one bottle of Jack Daniels, one binoculars, one case of toys, one television stand, one camcorder, one pair of cowboy boots,one pair of timbeland shoe, one bottle opener, two football radios and two football speakers altogether valued at K122,195.00.

Magistrate: Did you steal the said properties?

Sakala: No

Matter to come up on July 9 for continued Trial.
