This is a feature film of a late Zambian freedom fighter and political rebel Admson Mushala’ who fought battles with the United National Independence Party (UNIP) under Kenneth Kaunda.
“The story of ‘Mushala’ is a one of heroes, villains, victims and survivors. Opinion is divided while some people call ‘Mushala’ a hero in the same breath some call him a monster. There is a lot of myth and speculation about his life and death, tales of politics, banditry magic, kidnappings,,rape, love legends truths and falsehoods,” says Angel Phiri a film producer and one of the people on the ‘ Mushala’ project.
The film will help narrate Zambian history and preserve the important part of our revolution as a nation. This film premières today at Freshview Cinemas, Levy mall, Garden City, Ndola and Livingstone.
