Headman Kingsley Siabweengo of Chipepo chiefdom said the move had been taken to resolve all outstanding differences between Chief Chipepo and his subjects.

He said among other issues, the elders wanted to address procedural way of appointing officials to hold strategic positions to represent the chiefdom.

Headman Siabweengo further said that another issue to be discussed was an appeal to Chief Chipepo to dissolve the private Mayaka council.

He said that it as the feeling that the Chief must sack his private secretary Emmanuel Dyololo because of his alleged corrupt practices.

Meanwhile, Headman Siabweengo regretted the poor leadership skills exhibited by traditional leaders.

He said that on May, 28 Bishop Oliver Matambo resigned from his position as chiefdom’s public relations and lands committee member but despite his move, Chief Chipepo has continued using him.

Headman Siabweengo has also appealed to the chiefdom to stop using Mr Matambo because he resigned from his position due to his personal reasons and had lost interest in the matters of the chiefdom.
