Zambian musician-based in the United States OC last Saturday become the first Zambian artiste to ever perform at the Interswitch One Africa Music Festival.

Held in Brooklyn, New York, the Interswitch festival is hosted annually and is a celebration of great African music talent and culture. It is such a huge music stage that courts top-ranking talent.

OC made his way to this festival via his efforts on the song ‘Pepe’ featuring Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo. The two artistes gave an enchanting and wowing performance enough to give OC confidence and pride to be the first Zambia to perform at such a big stage.

“I am very thankful to my fans, supporters and all those that have made this possible. It was a great feeling to perform with my brother Eddy Kenzo. This means a lot for me and for our country Zambia. I feel deeply honoured to fly the Zambian flag at such a big event, “said OC in an interview.

Other artistes that performed at this year’s festival included Wyclef Jean, Burna Boy, 2Face, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Cassanova and Teni. Others were Harmonize, Kranium, Diamond Platnumz and Jah Prayzah.
