Super League side Napsa yesterday concluded its two weeks pre-season intensive training in Livingstone ahead of the 2019/2020 soccer season which starts in August.

Head coach Mohamed Fathy described Livingstone as a good town with a conducive environment hence its choice for training.

Fathy told the Sun Sport that he had achieved his target for going into camp in the tourist capital where the team fine-tuned in readiness for the new soccer season.

He said the tour was a build-up to the rest of weeks which would remain before the league kicks off in August.

Fathy said so far he was impressed with how his players were shaping u , adding that the friendly matches they had played gave him and his technical bench an insight of which areas to continue working on.

The team played two friendly matches against Division One side Blue Arrows FC and Zesco Victoria Falls FC

It was in his plan to hold such friendlies games to help him see which players could be ready to make his first-choice team in the coming season.

The team also played Livingstone Pirates yesterday and was expected back in Lusaka today where it would still continue with its preparations ahead of the new soccer season.

NAPSA has also released some players considered to be excess luggage and also made some new acquisitions to make the final team before the close of the transfer window.
