PROTECTION IS ASSURED

N this world of iniquity, security is one of man’s greatest needs. We are living in a wicked and perveted generation. 1John 5:19 says ‘And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness’.
Psalm 91:5-6 indicates that there arrows that flies by day and terrors of the night, there pestilences, and killer plagues.
We have seen in the recent months how corona virus has ravaged our societies and many nations. Road traffic accidents are happening every day.
Political violence has also become the order of the day. People are now looking for ways on how to protect themselves from all these dangers.
Some have hired security guards for protection but still they could not stop spiritual attacks, others have visited native doctors to get Charms for protection against spiritual attacks, but charms are deceptive and those who patronise native doctors provoke God’s wrath against themselves.
None but God alone can truly protect us. What man needs is God’s protection.
WHAT IS PROTECTION?
According to Macmillan Dictionary, to protect is “to keep someone or something safe from harm, injury, damage or loss.” God is able to keep you, your family, your business, your career, and your properties safe from harm, injury, damage or loss.
GOD IS OUR PLACE OF SAFETY
The Psalmist said; “We live within the shadow of the Almighty, sheltered by the God who is above all gods. This I declare, that He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him. For He rescues you from every trap and protects you from the fatal plague, He will shield you with His wings! They will shelter you. His faithful promises are your armor. (Psalm 91:1-4 TLB)
SOME OF GOD’S FAITHFUL PROMISES ABOUT DIVINE PROTECTION
‘No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will command His angels in regard to you to protect and defend and guard you in all your ways.’ – Psalm 91:10-11(AMP)
‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me says the Lord.’ – Isaiah 54:17
‘The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and is safe.’ – Proverbs 18:10
But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one – 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
YOU STILL NEED GOD’S PROTECTION
Even after putting up human security measures in place, you still need God’s protection.
The Bible says “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord.” (Proverbs 21:31).
Psalm 127:1b says “unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watching in vain.”
FOR YOU TO ENJOY DIVINE PROTECTION
DWELL IN GOD’S PRESENCE
You can only dwell in God’s presence if you make peace with God by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and savior.
LOVE & FEAR GOD
Love is expressed by actions; you can’t say you love God if you keep going against His word.
To fear God is to hate evil.
Have a Closer Relationship with God. Praying, praise and worship, studying God’s word and fellowshipping with other believers will help you develop a closer relationship with God.
May God splendidly bless Zambia and mightily protect us all in Jesus Christ name!

PASTOR PORTPHER FAITH
By God’s grace, Pastor Portpher Faith is the Resident Pastor for Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) Lusaka and he is currently the National Overseer for Omega Fire Ministries Zambia.
Omega Fire Ministries is an International Ministry with Branches all across the globe;
The church founders are Apostle and Dr. Lizzy Johnson Suleman.
In Zambia, Omega Fire Ministries have branches in Kabwe, Ndola, Kitwe, Mufulira, Chingola, Solwezi, Nakonde, Livingstone, Choma and Chipata, so far.
Pastor Portpher Faith is by God’s grace called into Ministry, he is a lover and teacher of God’s word and he believes in faith healings.
Apart from the Church, You can follow his Radio program called ‘Freedom Hour ‘on ‘One Love Radio station’ every Saturday 19:00 where he teaches God’s Word and a lot of healing testimonies are being shared on radio.
Pastor Portpher Faith is happily married to a beautiful and God fearing wife Pastor Thokozile Portpher Faith.
He got born again in 1998 and he is still standing and living on in Christ and serving God by the grace and mercies of God.
His first assignment as a pastor was church planting in Chipata Eastern Province of Zambia in 2015, under Omega Fire Ministries. After establishing the Work in Chipata city, he was transferred to Kitwe, Copperbelt province of Zambia to pastor Omega Fire ministries Kitwe Branch in 2016 and later transferred again in 2019 to Lusaka, to Pastor Omega Fire ministries Lusaka where he is currently serving.
Aside pastoral studies, he also studied Business Administration and management studies; and he has worked in companies from 2008 to 2014 when he resigned to join ministry as a pastor full time.
