Buffaloes to fight for honours

GREEN Buffaloes Football Club coach Bulton Musonda says it will be very unfair if his team does not win honours this season.

Buffaloes drew 0-0 yesterday in a match played against Nkwazi.
Previously, speaking in a post-match interview after Buffaloes humiliated Nkana FC 5-0 last Wednesday to pick their first Super Division win, Musonda said the Zambia Army side have prepared very well for the new season and deserve to win titles.
Musonda said there is need for the club to give back to it’s sponsors who have been critical to supporting the team.
He said the victory over Nkana would motivate them to fight for maximum points going onto the next fixture.
“This is a turning point for Buffaloes. This year we have prepared very well and it will be unfortunate if we don’t give back to the sponsors. This year we should fight for honours,” Musonda said.
Musonda said Buffaloes have improved and are able to score goals after struggling in the first three league games which ended in stalemates.
“We are playing a local derby which is very difficult again but we hope the performance against Nkana will motivate us to get a good result also,” Musonda said.
