THE Mwachingwala Local Court in Mazabuka District has fined Mukobela Village Headman, Belon Chilokota K7, 000 for committing adultery with a married woman.
This is in a matter were Chibilika Himagaya , 33 also known as Chilondo of Simoonga village is claiming compensation from Chilokota, aged 48 and two others for sleeping with his wife, Vanessa Kabali, 20.
This was after Chilokota (white shirt) admitted to sleeping with Kabali before Senior Presiding Local Court Magistrate Maseal Sakala and accepted to pay the charge over a period of 6 months.
Himagaya had sued Chilokota, his son Malambo Chilokota and nephew, Martin Chilala demanding a combined K21,000 accusing them of sleeping with his wife.
Byta FM’s Liyali Evans reports from Munenga that the court has also fined Chilala K1,500 for marriage interference, after he admitted that his uncle sent him to take Kabali to Tandabale.
Himagaya wanted K10, 000 from Chilala (black shirt) for taking his wife to Monze for a week and committing adultery, an accusation he denies.
Magistrate Sakala has also set judgment for 2 September over Himagaya’s claim of K4,000 from Chilokota’s son.
The 20-year-old woman has admitted in court to sleeping with all three men on different occasions.
