Prison Leopards FC await return

SUN SPORTS writes

EDEN University Division One League leaders Prison Leopards Football Club are still awaiting the return to action but recently benefitted from a different type of promotion following the pass out of some club members.

Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo officiated at the Passout Parade for the Zambia Correctional Service Cadet/Recruit Course No. 1 of 2019 at Nyango Correctional Staff Training School in Kaoma, Western Province recently.

Before the suspension of the league in March due to Covid-19, Prison Leopards FC had recorded 4 consecutive wins to reclaim the top slot in the halted 2019/2020 FAZ/Eden University National League. Overall, the Kabwe based National League giants have played twenty-four matches, having won thirteen, losing three while the other eight games ended in stalemates to gunner forty-seven points out of possible seventy-two.

The Zambia Correctional Service sponsored side managed to score a total number of 36 goals and only allowed 15, with goal difference currently standing at 21.
