Lusaka July makes fashion statements (photos)

The highly publicized Lusaka July organized by the PR Girl Media successfully took place on Saturday with attendees making serious fashion statements under the theme, ā€˜21ST Century Gardenā€™.

Most participants of the event that took place at the Polo Grounds in Lusaka were up to the challenge of presenting apparels suited for the occasion. There was a blend of floral designs making both males and females appear glamorous and attractive.

Graced by Zimbabweā€™s Pokello Nare, a former Big BrotherAfrica Housemate, the event was attended by various people from all walks of life mainly local celebrities and entertainers. Fashion was well displayed through the many designers that were lined up to showcase their works. Notable among them was renowned fashion designer Faith Kabende from the famous Fay Designs as well as Chiza Ngulube of Esnoko.

Notable celebrities and entertainers at the event included Mampi, whose all black-spider influenced attire wowed many. Others were Mumba Yachi who wore a floral suit, Roberto, Jerahyo, Shenky Shugar, D-Bwoy Telemu and Bobby East.

Television hosts Innocent Kalaluka, Alfred Chibiliti, Chimweka and many familiar faces were also present. The atmosphere was filled with brightness as the event run side by side with a polo championship.

Afterwards, the show entered its party segment with the ever-blazing DJ Vjeezy musically rocking the decks. What was prominent about the event were the fascinating attires that created pomp and splendor.
