Saleslady in court over K45,000

A TRADE Kings sales woman has denied stealing K45,000 cash from her employer in Choma.

She appeared in the Choma Magistrates Court.

Martha Munachonga of Choma’s Zambia Compound is charged with theft by servant.

Munachonga, 34, being a servant of Trade Kings Group of Companies Choma branch, allegedly stole K45,572 cash from her employer on June 6.

She appeared for plea before resident magistrate Richard Chikalanga.

Munachonga denied the charge prompting the court to enter a plea of not guilty.

The case was adjourned to July 30, 2019 for trial.

Munachonga is on police bond.
