A BUSINESS woman of Lusaka has sued her husband of 16 years for reconciliation alleging that he drinks too much beer and has a girlfriend.
Margaret Nakazwe narrated before Chelstone senior local court magistrate Charity Milambo that they have been having difficulties in their marriage.
Nakazwe, 34, of Mtendere East sued Fransis Hamabwa, 38, electrician of the same area for reconciliation.
“My husband beats me when he gets drunk and doesn’t give me money. When he gives me money he gets it back. I want the court to reconcile us because I am tired of living such a life,” she said.
In defence, Hamabwa said he drank beer but did not beat her wife.
“We quarrel a lot, and she doesn’t give me respect. She insults me in the presence of my children. Let the court reconcile us,” he said.
The court reconciled them and told them to live in harmony with love.
