Dear Editor,

It is very sad and disheartening for the students, lecturers and Zambia at large to see how long the Copperbelt University (CBU) will remain closed.

It therefore it paints a very bad picture to the outsiders who would want to pursue their studies at the institution.

CBU being our country’s second highest ranked university is not supposed to be closed indefinitely.

I therefore appeal to the minister the of higher education Professor Nkandu Luo to please speed up the process of installing CCTV at the institution so that it can continue running smoothly for Zambia to attain the goal of a better by 2030. Zambia will indeed be a better country for all.

Your quickest response to this matter will highly be appreciated by all.
