All set for Club Amnesia 2nd Anniversary

Terence Miselo writes

Lusaka’s Club Amnesia celebrates its second year running on 1st June with a promise of a fully-packed music concert to take place at the club’s premises in Chamba Valley area.
Management says all is set for this forthcoming event that will feature top Zambian entertainers ranging from musicians to DJs. According to the club’s promotional material for the event that is planned for Saturday, the gig will be a celebration of what the club has stood for since its inception.
When the club was set up two years ago, its mandate was to provide an entertainment platform that will accord patrons a chance to support, and interact with their favourite local artistes. To the artistes, it was established as an avenue for the promotion of their music and art.
True to its foundation, Club Amnesia has acted as a huge link for the musicians and various artistes to promote their music and art. It has in the last two years hosted a chain of local musicians, DJs and other entertainers through its three-strategy agenda namely, Weekly Live Band, Music Artiste Feature and the DJ Sundays.
This has given a number of artistes a chance to showcase their skills and appreciate the feedback from the fans.
It is against this background that the second anniversary has been planned in a manner to accommodate everyone. Management say everything is in place to celebrate this important day that will feature artistes like Danny, Izrael, T-Sean, DJ Cosmo, Drifter Trek and HD Empire. The female duet Davaos will also be in the place.
DJs Vjeezy, Thrill, Shooter, Kuks and Jolly will also be available to entertain the patrons. The event will be hosted by MCs Manstan and W-star.
