Legendary artiste Danny as well as Copperbelt-based artistes Afunika and T-Low has been named to feature at the first ever-Copperbelt Arts and Cultural Festival set for 5th to 8th June 2019.
The event planned for three days is meant to highlight Copperbelt’s cultural activities that will be supported by music performances and other artistic displays.
This event also comes in the year the Copperbelt is having its first exposition. For this reason, the music festival will be held in Kitwe at the newly-opened Edgar Chagwa Lungu Mall.
According to the programme, the first two days will be dedicated to arts and cultural exhibition and a food fair, while the last day will be specifically for a music festival and special celebrity red carpet.
So far, artistes Danny, Afunika and T-Low are confirmed as main artistes but a lot more musicians are being considered. Radio personality Kenny T will also be at the event to grace the occasion.
There is great anticipation the festival will attract a huge crowd and following. It is also expected to lift the artistic standards of the Copperbelt. Tickets for the event which will be starting from 08:00 hours to 20:00 hours every day are available at CompuTickets in all Shoprite Stores.
