Lusaka Playhouse to host ‘Zambian Rhythms Nite'

The Lusaka Playhouse will this month end host a special Zambian music night dubbed ‘Zambian Rhythms Nite’ set for May 31st.
The show will feature Zambian legendary musician Moses Sakala from the formerly Sakala Brothers. Sakala who runs a music school and offers lots of authentic music guidance to several musicians will be the lead act at this event set to highlight Zambia’s rich music culture.
Additionally the show will feature Zambian songbird Angela Nyirenda as well as multitalented Theresa N’Gambi. The two singers focused on the promotion of authentic Zambian traditional music will be willing to show their dedicated performances.
Other artistes to feature at the show include Alex Kangwa and a lot more supporting acts and dancers.
Moses Sakala feels this event will give Zambians music lovers and fans a different dimension to music entertainment and culture. It is one project he and his team are willing to promote and hoping there will be some corporate sponsors to help make the show become a regular feature. The event will start at 18 hours till late.
