ZAMBIA, LAND OF TOO MANY TALKING EXPERTS

ALLOW me some space in your newly launched but widely read newspaper to say something on the above subject.

Today our country is full of stories in the media about ‘experts’ talking about this and that, including the Church, while the country still seems to be stuck on the ground.

When one hears an engineer, clergyman, politician, economist and other experts in their various areas of interest speak, one easily gets an impression that we have answers on our finger tops to our
challenges.

But the opposite is true. They are simply noise makers in the wilderness and there is nothing that they can contribute to the wellbeing of Zambia.

For instance our former Catholic Church Lusaka Archbishop Telesphore George Mpundu was recently quoted to have advised Zambians to rise against each other during the 2021 general elections. Sure ba
Bishop?

If he was correctly quoted, I can only say ‘heaven forbid’. He is better forgotten as a man God because how can he be urging and promoting anarchy in a peaceful country like ours?

Now you know when Jesus Christ talked about
letting ‘the dead bury the dead’.

How can our country move forward with such
experts who are only good at talking?
