Youth cautioned against social media abuse

NOEL IYOMBWA writes

BISHOPS Council of Zambia general secretary Bishop Able Kaela has called on youths in the country to avoid posting their grievances on social media.

Bishop Kaela said that there is a better way youths including other people can express their views rather than posting on social media.

He said that not all people have good intentions on social media hence they can take advantage of what is posted and cause anarch.

Bishop Kaela stated that people should use other channels to advise government and its leaders rather than alarming the masses via social media.

“It’s very unfortunate that it has become a trend for every person to criticize leaders using social media platform.

“I am urging the youths to use formal channels to air their views not every time going on social media.

Recently there has been a trend by citizens to criticize leaders on social media and calling for a revolution.
