Zambia’s national soccer team hotshot striker Patson Daka opened his Europa League scoring debut with a brace to help his team cruise into the Europa League, Last 16, after beating Club Brugge 4-0 and 5-2 on aggregate.

In a Europa league game, played at Red Bull Salzburg’s home ground, the Red Bull Arena in Salsburg, Austria, and monitored by the Sun Sports, Daka, a former Kafue Celtic and Power Dynamos striker, opened his account in the 29th minute to double his side’s lead.

Red Bull Salzburg had earlier scored in the 17th minute through his teammate Schlager before the young starlet could come back to seal his brace just two minutes before half time.

Daka’s brace helped his Red Bull team ease into the last round of 16 after brushing off their 2-1 defeat in the first leg played in Brugge, Belgium.

The 2017 CAF Young Player-of-the-Year had exhibited some moment of brilliance in the game with his knack for scoring goals, and it later paid off.

The Chipolopolo player has been rising up the ladder having first been spotted and groomed by Kafue Celtic before attracting national team scouts’ attention, through the Airtel Rising Stars in 2014.

Patson Daka later romped in all the Zambia national teams that participated in the 2015 under 17, U20, U23 and senior national team in the Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
