KONKOLA Copper Mines plc (KCM), the official sponsor of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) division 2 side, Nchanga Rangers, has unveiled a new executive committee for the club.
In a statement availed to The Sun, Nchanga Rangers Club secretary, Chalwe Chipulu, said that the new committee has been mandated to ensure the Chingola-based team win back promotion into the supper league.
“Nchanga Rangers were relegated last season and KCM has placed the onus on the new executive to propel the team to greater heights,” he said.
The new committee comprises Yoram Kapai as the club chairperson, Victor Mpundu as club vice chairperson, and Chalwe Chipulu as club secretary, deputized by Matyola Hanyama.
Mwelwa Chilundika as be appointed treasurer, Teddy Mwiche and the vice treasurer while committee members include, Joseph Munongo, Nelius Mumbu, John Kane, John Sakala and Felix Mvula.
Nchanga Rangers, which has played the super league for the last 10 seasons, where last year relegated to the bottom of the table after a streak of poor performances.
