FORMER Zambia national soccer team coach Honor Janza is the only Zambian that has been selected by the confederation of African Football (CAF) to undergo Africa’s premier CAF instructorsā€™ course slated for Morocco.

Janza a former FAZ technical director confirmed to the Sun Sports having received an admission from CAF, in an interview adding he would be leaving for Morocco today.

He said that it was a great honour for him to have been selected as the only Zambian CAF instructor attending the prestigious CAF coaching course.

Janza further said that he would use the knowledge for the benefit of Zambia and Africa in the development of football.

The former Chipolopolo tutor said that he had become what he was in football because of the support and opportunities that the Zambia had given him both in training.

ā€œIt’s a great honour to me and I owe it to my country Zambia, I am what I am in football because of my country which has given me the support and opportunities in both coaching and playing,

 ā€œI will always be loyal to my country and give whatever I can at any time, I will  pass on every acquired knowledge  for the benefit of Zambia and Africa in the football development,ā€ said Janza

Janza has been Zambia’s CAF instructor having been training not only Zambian coaches but all COSAFA-based coaches in attaining CAF accredited coaching badges.

He was Zambia national team coach from 2014-2015 and was part of Zambia’s technical bench when the country won its first AfCON title in 2012.

He was also among those shortlisted for FAZ technical director job which fell vacant following the departure of Moses Sichone in 2018.
